In 2004, EGYPTAIR demonstrated the scale of its commitment to the highest standards of safety by being the first IOSA certified airline in the Middle East & Africa, EASA – European Aviation Safety Agency, ISO –International Organization for Standardization and ISAGO -IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operation.
EGYPTAIR became the 21st member of Star Alliance, having joined on 11 July 2008.
EGYPTAIR now operates from the state-of-the-art new Terminal 3 in Cairo International Airport, where customers can enjoy the exclusive services inside the Star Alliance lounges that are owned and operated by EGYPTAIR.
